It is the last few digits after the small printed credit card (or partial) number on the signature band on the back of your credit card. Each CVV2 number is unique to your card and a new CVV2 number is issued each time you receive a replacement card from your bank or issuing company. It helps guard you against credit card theft by individuals who don't possess the physical card and also protects you if your old card is stolen when you toss it out after receiving a replacement card from your bank or issuing company.
Not all credit cards have this number and if your card does not, please type "NO #" in the space provided on the order form. If your CVV2 number is there but is unreadable, please type "NO READ" in the space provided on the order form. Thanks.
